Aussie steaks rare

Janice TeoMandurah Coastal Times

WELL, it looks like it is starting quicker than I predicted.

Recently, I half joked that in years to come Aussies would be eating kangaroo, camels, goats, wild buffalos and I forgot rabbits. I have just watched a news story that the price of steak is to rise.

Our Chinese and Asian friends will raise cattle, sheep and wheat and export it home through possibly now Darwin.

Our farmers, those who are left, will naturally sell their products to the highest bidder. So, it will not be long before you will invite friends for a meal of not Aussie steak but “underground mutton”.
