IN response to the letter from W.K. Burrows (Debacle not new, Coastal Times, October 15) I am of the same mind.
This is not the first time the city has been gridlocked and I am sure it will not be the last.
When they interfere with traffic flow by changing any access or regress at either of the bridges they are guaranteed gridlock.
My concern is what will happen if this is an example of their planning when the proposed new bridge building takes place.
I have always thought we should retain the two existing bridges and build a third; in that way we are building for future traffic flow across the waters and allowing for the flow of traffic whilst building is in progress.
I am not sure what general public can do about these poor decisions – we certainly make a noise about them but no one is listening.
