Mandurah Showstoppers Caberet Club highly reccommended

Staff ReporterMandurah Coastal Times

IF there was ever a show that lived up to its title 100 per cent, it is this year’s Showstoppers Cabaret Club.

I have seen every other show in Mandurah this year and this one goes straight to the top of my hit parade.

From the opening number, right through to the grand finale, it is a relentless funfair ride of amazing costumes, simple but wholly effective dance routines and lead singers of a calibre that go beyond the average amateur.

Ten out of 10 to the MC who stunned the audience with his own version of I Still Call Australia Home, which tells of his journey here from the UK.

I don’t want to spoil it for anyone who might be going but the Waking Dead parody was a work of comic genius.

What made it even more enjoyable was that it was in a cabaret setting with the audience at tables and we were allowed to bring our own drinks and nibbles. The atmosphere was incredible.

There can’t be anywhere else in Mandurah that will cost you just $17 for two hours of pure entertainment.

If you haven’t seen it yet, I can thoroughly recommend it and you will miss a great opportunity if you do not go.

My congratulations to all the cast and stage crew at Showstoppers for yet another brilliant show.

I am looking forward to Rocking All Over the World next November.
