AS the honourable Bronny submitted a number of alleged faulty transport claims from taxpayer funds, has justice been done now she has lost her position as Speaker in Parliament?

There have been numbers of people reported in the media who have been found to have submitted faulty information to Centrelink to access thousands of dollars of taxpayer-funded payments.

The outcomes have been people accepting guilt, repaying the payments with some court costs and being sentenced to prison for up to six months.

Is there any difference in both situations? Is there a need to have the same audit, accountability and court process for politicians and the public?
