HELENA Richardson(Coastal Times, February 24), the question I pose is why do you or anyone for that matter have dual nationality?
Are you not happy in your life choice of where you reside? If Australia is home, why is dual nationality important to you?
Let’s not have the argument that a dual passport makes it easier to enter the old country. If you live here and hold an Australian passport, wait in line with your countrymen.
If you choose not to be Australian, then leave. Dual nationality should have been scrapped years ago.
You make your life in this country, then commit to this country.
