I HAD a chuckle as I approached the new pedestrian bridge at Mandurah station.

The giant “crab” back at the roundabout, the new bridge and even the old “tuart” tree could all be prehistoric creatures.

Certainly, the bridge has taken on the form of a giant Brontosaurus.

Then I thought it really was not so stupid.

We could paint the water towers, decorate some of the telco towers' lower parts and hey presto, it would be like a Jurassic Parkland. It certainly would be a talking point for folk passing through.

The mind boggles about how far we could take it.
