WHAT a good information space your “Fast Lane” column is.
A few weeks ago I read that the Murray District Historical Society was running a bus trip to Woodbridge House in Guildford.
The trip was excellent and full marks to the historical society.

READ NOWFor a mere $20 we had a coach trip to Guildford, a sumptuous morning tea on arrival, a really informative talk about the history of Woodbridge House and a tour of the house, followed by a lunch just a good as morning tea and as if that wasn’t enough as we boarded the coach home we received a bottle of water.
I understand that the historical society subsidised the price of the trip as this was its first trip of this kind and it wanted to get people interested in doing more.
I can’t thank the society enough for a really informative trip and an all-round great day out.
