I don’t know why the council isn’t responsible for eradicating them. It sprays for mosquitoes yet leaves us invaded by these millipedes.
Most I see are heading into people’s gardens from footpaths, especially on the Cut where for the past two or three years they were travelling from Dawesville area over the bridge to Wannanup.
Surely, this means that they are the responsibility of the council to do something about them, because they are migrating on council property.
Don’t know if they talk to each other, but I kept a pretty good system by killing them as they were heading into our property.
I warned them this would continue if they came into our property, and to be honest we have hardly had any this year.
