COULD someone please explain to me the significance of an Aboriginal smoke ceremony at the dawn service to commemorate the Anzacs?
The spirit of Anzac was poorly represented at the dawn service on the western foreshore. I feel sure that among the thousands gathered there to mark this historic occasion, my friends, husband and I were not the only ones to leave the foreshore that morning feeling disappointed and duped.
