IN response to the letter Fines Disgust, Coastal Times, February 3, I totally agree with Maren Bayliss that the City should be ashamed for sending rangers out to raise revenue on Australia Day.
I have over the past eight years complained about the ever-increasing littering problem at the skate park located on the western foreshore.
The City, its rangers and its representatives should hang their heads in shame.
Littering is a major problem, particularly adjacent to natural waterways, but it seems that the bureaucrats don’t care.
Issuing infringements for littering is also part of their job.
