WHEN we moved into the canals, we were told there were strict rules i.e. no washing visible, no solar panels or satellite dishes and so forth.
It seems extraordinary that now these rules are ignored.
The owner of a house opposite us with a beautiful white roof has stuck the most ghastly black solar panels all of differing sizes on its pristine roof.
It looks so ugly and completely in disregard of the rules.
