Troubling cats

Janice TeoMandurah Coastal Times

IN support of the writer of the letter in the August 12 edition headlined "Owner’s duty", I am continually plagued by cats, defecating all around my yard, spraying my door and shed, and fighting.

Any request I have to my neighbours about their cats, there is a suggestion I am not a cat lover.

Quite the opposite, I have had dogs and a cat but I was sure neither roamed.

About the beheading of the cat as stated, I find that almost unconceivable.

I would like to see a person hold a cat and be able to behead it.

A vet’s opinion would be interesting. It seems like an altercation with a vehicle and someone has deposited the body on the owner's property.

What I can’t understand is why cat owners continue to own several cats.

My neighbours have three and two respectively, which are allowed to roam at will.
