Well done, Luke

MANY thanks to young Luke Jupp of Vance Street, Dudley Park, for alerting me on Sunday, August 23 to a family of ducks (mum, dad and six chicks) in my neighbour’s front yard.

We had no choice but to try to get them down to Soldier’s Cove and to the waterfront.

So off we set, Luke, my wife Sharon and myself. Fortunately, we got them all the way without incident.

Luckily, traffic was minimal and most people slowed down when they saw what was happening.

Once the ducks had made the reeds their new home, all was well.
