I AM writing to congratulate your paper for its report in the February 20 edition on Bill Warner showing black acid soil near Nairns.

It is reassuring to have people like him in our community to keep an eye on our environment.

I would like to know what follow-up action there will be and by whom so these problems are dealt with, otherwise they will only get worse.

To conclude, if Mr Warner needs any assistance with this project he only needs to contact me.
