THE Acton Group’s 47th annual awards were held earlier this month, with the Mandurah office again scooping the top prize of Business of the Year.

The honour is awarded to the Acton office with the highest gross sales and property management income for the year.

“This is our third year in a row as Business of the Year and the whole office is over the moon,” Acton Mandurah director Graeme Baxter said.

“We had strong competition this year across the city offices, as well as down south in the Peel region.”

The Mandurah branch came away with 14 awards in total, including Highest Number of Sales and C&R Conveyancing Acton Agent of the Year (Number of Settlements) to sales executive Noeline Ross, who was also named region champion.

“Noeline has been a region champion for a number of years and she and her team were celebrating big time on the night,” Mr Baxter said.

Two Platinum Achievement Awards were awarded to sales team Craig and Tina Hardman, who were also awarded C&R Conveyancing Acton Agent of the Year (Dollar Value), and sales manager Michael O’Brien, who was also named St James Finance Agent of the Year.

Acton Rockingham and Baldivis staff also triumphed in many award categories, with sales executives David Parlor and Paula Barnden named region champions.

Mr Parlor, along with sales executive Lee Murray, also received gold Outstanding Achievement Awards for their sales results for the year, while sales executive Brett Lee took home a bronze.

Kerry Whyatt was named Property Manager of the Year, while Shaye Schofield collected the Customer Service Award and Madhu de la Rue won the Administrator of the Year title.

“Congratulations to all of our hard-working staff who earned a nomination or a prize on the night, with a particular special mention to Kerry Whyatt, who deservingly won the Property Manager of the Year Award after being with us for 11 years,” Acton Rockingham director Roger Moorhouse said.

Chief executive Travis Coleman said the Annual Acton Awards night was an opportunity to recognise the company’s brightest stars and they should be proud of their outstanding achievements.

“Acton is the largest WA-owned real estate group in WA and our annual awards night showcases our brightest stars,” he said.

“To win an award is a truly special honour and we congratulate all of our finalists and winners on a huge year.”
