“The view is breathtaking, absolutely stunning,” he said.

“It’s just blue waters as far as the eye can see.”

He said it had served his family well.

“We built it around entertaining as we enjoy having people stay,” he said.

“I spent a lot of time with my kids on this little patch of reef there and you see surfers out on the big swell days.”

Terraced, low-maintenance gardens sit either side of large concrete steps of varying depths that lead up to a long veranda and undercroft of the home.

Gardens and lawn areas are maintained by reticulation from the mains.

A big garage holds three cars including an additional large workshop.

Built into the block, the upstairs area extends out level with the backyard.

It is an impressive space with the ocean-facing level having a large balcony, perfect for entertaining and taking in views.

The balcony is partially enclosed in glass, so the views aren’t hindered but there is protection from the elements.

“Instead of a gust of wind blowing through, there is more of a gentle breeze,” he said.

Glass bi-fold doors extend from the kitchen to the living area, allowing the whole area to be opened for integrated indoor-outdoor living.

An ergonomically-designed modern kitchen has high-gloss cabinetry, stone benchtops and quality stainless steel appliances including a built-in, double-door fridge.

The island bench features a stone benchtop with waterfall edges.

It overlooks an open living area that extends to the dining area and back of the home.

The master bedroom has private access to the large balcony, built-in robe and ensuite.

Two of the minor bedrooms have built-in robes and the one downstairs has a partial ensuite comprising toilet and basin.

The back garden is mostly paved with retained garden beds on the 1014sq m block.
