The owners said being just a short walk from the train station was extremely convenient.

“It is very peaceful and quiet here,” she said.

“We are close to the station, but you really can’t hear the trains.”

The home’s ground floor contains the main living spaces and minor bedrooms.

Neutral tones give an extra dimension of spaciousness to the big open-plan living and dining area.

“It has lots of glass doors, so it looks very open. It’s one of my favourite parts,” the owner said.

The kitchen has wide benchtops, quality stainless steel appliances and a built-in pantry.

The minor bedrooms are at the back of the house, giving them extra privacy.

Both are queen-sized and have built-in robes.

The main bathroom is spacious with a long bath and big shower recess.

That leaves the master bedroom as the perfect retreat due to its upstairs location.

It is king-sized and has a walk-in robe.

The ensuite has good storage space and a big shower recess.

Plenty of options abound for entertaining or relaxation.

“There are three main areas to sit – the veranda, around the side and out the back,” the owner said.

Another feature is the community vegetable garden that is just a few metres away from the property.

For cheaper energy costs, there is a 3.2kw, 12-panel solar system and the home has reverse-cycle air conditioning.

The owner is prepared to lease back the property for a short time after settlement.
