Best WA country footballers in Perth for competition

THE Landmark Country Football Championships kicked off on Thursday, with games held at grounds all over the metropolitan area.

Players from all corners of the state, including the Central Wheatbelt, Goldfields, Great Southern and Peel, have converged on Perth for the four-day competition.

It has been broken up into colts, women’s and Division 1, 2 and 3 competitions.

Games will be held at Fremantle Community Bank Oval, Leederville Oval, Bendigo Bank Stadium and Joondalup Arena, with the grand finals to be held at Claremont Oval from 10am on Sunday.

The colts grand final will be at Bendigo Bank Stadium from 9.10am on Saturday.
