It was consistent racedog’s seventh career victory and he is yet to miss a podium finish from 18 attempts.

Seeing the Robartson name on the winner’s list at Mandurah is nothing new, although you’d have to go back nearly 30 years since it was regularly announced in this part of the world.

Christine and her husband Dave were leading lights of the Mandurah racing scene in the 1980s before they relocated to Queensland for work commitments.

It was during their period in the sunshine state that the Robartsons came into national prominence with a string of brilliant chasers such as Miss Hot Gossip, El Galo and former leading Australian stake-winner High Earner.

Now they have returned to the Peel region, the Robartsons are taking up where they left off with a good team of dogs in the kennel.

Last Day is very promising, while exciting race bitch Gossip Girl is a potential star.

Gossip Girl won her fifth straight victory in dominating fashion last Thursday.
