Despite missing large portions of the year due to injury, Tureaud still had a strong finish to 2015 with key wins in the Group 2 All Stars Sprint and Anniversary Cup, both held at Mandurah due to the Cannington shutdown.
The Paul Stuart-trained chaser was also a finalist in the WA Derby and Mandurah Cup.
Tureaud defeated kennelmates Astrophysic and Quartz Bale as well as Fun Boss to claim the honour.
The Greyhound of the Year ceremony was conducted in the Box 1 Restaurant at the new Cannington racetrack, which will hold is first race meeting on Wednesday.
The $15 million state-of-the-art racing facility has been built next to the old Cannington track, which closed nine months ago.
