The award was presented at the Lord’s Taverner’s Australian Peel branch fundraising dinner on Friday.
Burrage represented Rockingham-Mandurah District Cricket Club in the Under 17s and Colts as a 15 year old.
He was named captain of the WA under-15s team and because of his outstanding performance, named in the All Australian under-15 team.

READ NOWSo far, he has played 65 matches in all seasons and all grades with a highest score of 110, an aggregate of 1329 and an average run rate of 22.15.
Burrage complied with all selection criteria for the award in transitioning from junior to senior cricket, demonstrated exceptional talent, is a team player and demonstrates the “spirit” of cricket.
His brother Aaron won the award in 2014.
Retired Australian Test cricketer Graeme Wood commended Burrage for his achievements and also his family for producing two Junior Lord’s Taverner of the Year winners.
Burrage received a plaque, a $500 gift voucher from Sportsfirst Mandurah and five individual coaching sessions with retired English Test cricketer Robin Smith.
Peel branch president Barrie Hudson said Burrage exemplified the spirit of Lord’s Taverners, not only with his skill, but also his team work and playing within the spirit of cricket,.
