Ravenswood father and son win V8 state title

Daniel took out the top spot, while his father was placed second.

There were 13 teams that competed in the pits.

Daniel was described as “hard charging” and “determined” as he pegged competitors in the heats.

The victorious pair build the cars and engines themselves. “I’m really proud,” Peter said.

“We’ve worked together for many years.”

Peter said while crashes were part of the sport, he loved the competition and comradeship.
