Footy tipping winner to put money towards honeymoon

LINCOLN Flindell won $2500 from a Tuckey’s Hardware Pinjarra footy tipping competition, which he will use towards a belated honeymoon to Europe.

He also received a $2500 voucher for Mitre 10.

His wife is looking forward to checking out the store to decide how to spend their windfall.

Mr Flindell said he had never done that well in 20 years of tipping.

His secret this year was to tip with his head rather than his heart. He also won other tipping competitions.
