Lee’s Maggie marched to her third victory in a row when she ran down the leading Starlight Beauty to seize control of the race in the back stretch, before holding out Karon’s Boy to score in 22.87sec.

Lee’s Maggie will launch from box eight in this weekend’s final where she’ll take on a competitive field, including fellow heat winners Shift Pattern and Fire Blaze.

Later in the evening, White also enjoyed success with Marydoll and Max Profit.

It was a nice return to form for Marydoll when the red fawn chaser led all the way to claim the 405m Free To All in comfortable fashion.

Max Profit made amends after he was unplaced for the first time the previous week, with a brilliant performance in the 490m Free To All.

He fired sweetly out of the traps and then skipped away to a commanding lead to put the issue beyond doubt, before hitting the line three and a half lengths ahead in 27.72sec.

Max Profit has now saluted in 13 of 19 attempts for just over $40,000 in stakes.
