Halls Head Croquet Club the masters of the mallet in Bunbury

HALLS Head was well represented in the winning lists in croquet tournaments in Bunbury at the weekend.

David Smeeton and Sheila Twine were runners-up in the 14-point competition on Friday, Bev Orsmond was second in the intermediate tournament held over Saturday and Sunday and Kath Caris leads the Halls Head pennant team.

Halls Head Croquet Club also boasts one of Australia’s top players in Peter Ross, who has played for WA on many occasions, won the Champion of Champions three times and won the Australian Croquet Association gold medal.

The club is holding have a go days in November on Saturday.
