Halls Head Croquet Club wins big at state championships

HALLS Head Croquet Club scooped the pool at the recent WA State Croquet Championships in a first for the club.

Local mallet swingers were in fine form, taking out the first three places in the tournament, with the fourth place going to Dunsborough.

Jock Fyfe won four of his six games over the two- day competition to be outright winner of the championship.

Runner-up was Bernie Lynch, with David Smeeton third.

Croquet is becoming very popular and a class for beginners starts at Halls Head Croquet Club on Wednesday, April 10, from 2.30 to 4pm.
