Halls Head player excited for ‘physical challenge’ at Mixed Netball Championships

HANNAH Irving is preparing to take on the best in the country at the Mixed Netball Championships next month.

The Halls Head resident is the captain of the reserves side and has been playing mixed netball for about eight years.

Irving said she enjoyed playing against men because it improved her skills.

“Mixed netball is more physical, it’s a challenge keeping up a faster pace,” she said.

The 2018 Australian Men’s and Mixed Netball Championships is in Sydney from April 1 to 8.
