STUDENTS at Halls Head Primary School got inspired about sport at the Community Sport and Recreation Expo earlier this month.

Held after school on Friday, March 2, students and parents had an opportunity to find out what sport and recreation activities were available in their area.

The aim of the event was to increase student participation in physical activity.

Clubs set up stalls at the school to provide general information and registration details.

Groups from sporting disciplines such as swimming, hockey, AFL, rugby, netball, soccer and martial arts were able to link their programs with the school.
