MANDURAH boy Teague Wyllie got his first baggy green.
The talented cricket player was selected for the Australian under-15s team.
Teague made the Cricket Australia XI squad following his impressive performances at the Under 15’s National Championships in Queensland last week.
He will join the 20-player squad at the Bupa National Cricket Centre in Brisbane for a camp in July. Thirteen players from the squad will then go on to compete at the Under 17 Male National Championships.
A Rockingham-Mandurah District Cricket Club product, Teague was in Brisbane when the announcement was made.
His mother Marnie said Teague’s hard work and determination was starting to pay off.
“We are super proud,” she said.
