Mandurah girl to tour Sri Lanka on cricket tour

Vanessa SchmittMandurah Coastal Times

MANDURAH girl Georgia Wyllie will join the Western Australian Cricket Association (WACA) development squad on a Sri Lanka tour.

Georgia won a $5000 WACA scholarship to participate in the tour and her name will forever be on the wall at the WACA.

WACA player development manager Tarryn Dickerson said the trip to Sri Lanka would involved five matches against other teams, training days and coaching clinics.

She said the tour would be a good opportunity for the girls to adapt their game to different conditions.
