Mandurah Greyhounds: good prospects for White

James BroadhurstMandurah Coastal Times

White claimed two of three heats with front-|running victories to Max Profit and Marydoll.

Max Profit is a highly promising young chaser and he continued what has been a sparkling start to his career with an impressive all-the-way performance.

The black speedster bounced straight to the front from the rails alley and led his rivals a merry dance before hitting the finish line more than three lengths ahead in the fastest qualifying time of 22.60.

Max Profit has now saluted in nine of 11 starts and looks ready to collect his first piece of silverware.

Marydoll, winless since early October, snapped her losing sequence with an all-the-way run in her heat.

She launched sweetly on to the bunny and set the agenda at the head of the field throughout the race to score by two lengths in 22.68.

Recent ‘Chase’ winner Hello I’m Leo took out the other heat, where he trumped Activator in a two-dog battle.

Hello I’m Leo edged ahead of Activator midway through the race and although he was never able to break away to a comfortable margin, he held on to claim the winner’s cheque by a length in 22.84.
