Mandurah well represented at indoor beach volleyball nationals

THE Indoor Beach Volleyball National Titles are over for another year, but the amazing display from all teams that participated in over 420 games plus finals will not be forgotten.

The 2019 competition was held in Queensland at Bio Beach Volleyball centre with Mandurah sending six teams.

They represented WA in the Mixed, Junior Men’s, Over 35 Ladies Masters and the Over 45’s Men’s Masters Competitions.

Each division had teams competing from: Darwin, Alice Springs, Queensland, Townsville, Melbourne, South Australia, Bunbury, Mandurah and Perth.

It was a remarkable competition as all teams that participated displayed great skill, sportsmanship and determination.

The Mandurah teams were selected from the Mandurah Beach Volleyball Club – Mandurah Stingrays, and all teams made a tremendous accomplishment as they reached the final rounds.

The Men’s Masters team come in second in their division, while our Mixed, Juniors and Ladies teams all finishing in the finals to miss out on going through to the top play-offs.

Queensland dominated the competition.

With nationals done and dusted the State Super League Series will start from October 26.
