Nikki comes to the Cup

The Northam-based real estate agent, fashion connoisseur and ardent racing fan became the state’s country racing ambassador in July last year.

“I’m from the country, I love the country and I grew up around country racing, so this is something I am extremely passionate about as I’ve seen the importance it plays and also the excitement it brings to these regional communities,” she said.

Ms Gogan will be a guest judge for the Fashions on the Field competition.

She had some hot tips for those looking to claim a share in the $3000 worth of prizes.

“One of my biggest tips for entering Fashions on the Field is making sure you feel comfortable in what you’re wearing. When judging it’s easy to recognise if someone feels confident in their outfit,” she said.

“I always say your best accessory is a smile, so flash those pearly whites.”

On the track, the Pinjarra Race Club will host the $250,000 Perth 2yo Classic (1200m) and the $150,000 Perth 3yo Trophy (1200m) for the first time.
