The under-18s started the day off playing against Palmyra at Alfred Cove.

Mandurah had a chance to secure fourth place with a win.

Top team Palmyra put up a great effort, stopping Mandurah’s attack.

This made Mandurah work hard in defence but to no avail as they lost 46-17.

The development squad also sits fourth on their ladder.

They ran on second against a strong Southern Lions team at Cockburn.

With an unfortunate 17-13 loss, Mandurah holds their position and have one game left against another top-four team.

First grade ran on last against the Southern Lions at Cockburn and Zack Palmer had another top game.

Palmer scored five tries to set up Mandurah’s huge 57-0 victory.

Unfortunately Mandurah is still one point out of the finals contention.

Mandurah’s third grade had an unfortunate forfeit because of lack of numbers.

The last game of the season for the under-18s is against third-placed Wests Scarborough at Scarboroughat 2pm.

Second grade is playing against second-position team ARKS at 2:10pm.

First grade faces top team ARKS, kicking off at 3:30pm.

Both games are at Kelmscott.
