Peel Thunder beat Swans in WAFL

Declan ByrneMandurah Coastal Times

Peel struggled to convert a wealth of chances on their way to the 11.28 (94) to 6.6 (42) romp. Fremantle-listed Matt Taberner, Matthew Uebergang and Darcy Tucker grabbed two goals each, while Ben Hancock, Brayden Lawler, Calvin Thorne, Tendai Muzungu and Jack Hannath all grabbed singles.

Rory O’Brien continued his excellent return to Thunder colours, picking up 33 disposals, while Lawler was reported on his way to 25 disposals.

It was a tough day for the reserves, who were soundly beaten by the Swans 20.12 (132) to 5.7 (37).

The 95-point belting leaves Peel second from bottom, above only Perth.
