THE Wildcats are coming to Mandurah.

The Perth Wildcats will kick off their three-game pre-season series against the Adelaide 36s at MARC Mandurah tomorrow night.

These matches are sure to be intense with players looking to impress coach Trevor Gleeson while the 36s will be keen to return to their 2017-18 form when they were league runner-ups.

The coaching staff will be using these games to add more spark to the champion’s playbook to remain at the top of a very competitive tree.

Adelaide will look to exploit the gap left by talented Power Forward Nic Kay, who is on international duties, but will still need to stop Perth’s imports if they are to succeed.

Wildcats rookie Wani Swaka Lo Buluk had impressed coaches in practise and looked set to take to the court in this series until he tore a Syndesmosis ligament in his right ankle at practise.

The rookie will have surgery on the ankle and look to return by mid-season.

Game two of the series will be played in Bunbury on Friday night before a trip up to Joondalup for Sunday’s conclusion.
