PFL: Centrals smash Rockingham, stay top

Centrals got off to a great start, kicking two goals in the first quarter while restricting the Rams to just two points.

But Rockingham responded with five goals to Centrals’ six in its most productive quarter of the game before Mundijong extended its lead in the second half of the game, kicking 13 goals to four.

Best for Centrals were C Lee, T Keeffe, A McGrath, T Gianatti, T Higgins and M Miller.

McGrath’s haul took him to second on the goal kicking ladder with 25 for the season so far, with South Mandurah’s Bradley Holmes on top with 34 after kicking three against Baldivis.

Rockingham’s Tyler Sutton is equal second on 25 after booting four goals against Centrals.

The Rams are in sixth spot, with a 4-4 record for the season so far.

In other games, South Mandurah defeated Baldivis 12.12 (84) to 11.7 (73), Pinjarra 16.11 (107) defeated Halls Head 11.11 (77) and Waroona 10.21 (81) defeated Mandurah 10.6 (66).
