Smith will oversee the first team, assisted by George Brown. Alistair Rhodes will coach the amateur reserve team.

Based at Bortolo Park, Greenfields, there are a few new faces and many returning players to Peel United this season.

This season the club enters the Football West Amateur League, will retain teams in the Metropolitan (social) leagues and will have a junior team for the first time.

The junior team was made possible under the leadership of Keith Brock.

Along with the seniors, the club has entered an under-13 team this season. The under-13 team has been training hard and has its first pre-season game against Quinn’s FC in a couple of weeks.

The club’s philosophy is to provide soccer in the Peel region for all levels of ability.

Peel United is always on the lookout for new players. Training sessions are held every Tuesday at Bortolo Park from 6.30pm. Applications are being taken for coaching a senior team.

The under-13 team is looking for a goalkeeper to complete its line-up for the season and would like anyone who plays in goal to contact the club on 0416 244041 or email peelunited@hotmail.com
