The riders started at the dam and immediately began climbing before continuing an undulating course along Kingsbury Drive towards the lookout. They then turned around and found a gentle tailwind which made the return leg challenging.

Shayne Dimmer was the fastest rider, completing the 25km course in just more than 40 minutes on a time- trial bike.

Two seconds slower was visiting English hill climber Lewis Keightley on a regular road bike.

Third was Colin Rose, who took the honours on age standard time. Peter Carlin was second and Conor Leahy third on age standard time.
