Kidsport is a partnership between the State Government and local governments, which allows families to apply for financial assistance of up to $200 a year per child towards club fees.
Families with children aged five to 18 years who have a healthcare card, pension concession card or who are referred by a recognised referral agent, are eligible.
‘Since September 2011, more than 26,000 West Australians have become KidSport kids,’ Dr Hames said.
