A slow start cost the women, going down 78-67 despite outscoring the Tigers 20-16 in the final term.

Rachel Hallen sank 19 points, including three three-pointers, while Adijat Adams continued her fine form, scoring 17 points and boasting 11 rebounds in the 11-point loss.

The men went down to Willetton 82-67 despite leading at half-time after a massive 32-point second term.

The Magic held a 48-36 lead at the main change, but a poor final half resigned the side to its fifth loss of the season.

Trevor Setty claimed 20 points and seven rebounds, while Taylor Mullenax continued his fine form with 16 points and 10 rebounds.

Next up for both sides is the Perry Lakes Hawks on Friday night at Mike Barnett Sports Complex in Rockingham, before a promising derby with the Rockingham Flames on Sunday.
