MANDURAH Magic enjoyed a mixed weekend in the SBL, with the men downing Lakeside Lightning and Rockingham Flames on the weekend while the women went down to the same sides.
Despite the blistering start by the women on Friday, Lakeside came from 21 points down at quarter time to win 77-67.
Adijat Adams (24 points) and Annette Davis (19 points) were Mandurah’s best performers.

Trevor Setty was again the star with 26 points, while Taylor Mullenax was also impressive with 18 points and 11 rebounds.
A day later brought was more of the same with the women going down 63-56 to defending champions Rockingham.
The Magic led for the first half before Rockingham came out all guns blazing in the third and fourth quarters to claim the win.
Rachel Halleen (21 points) and Adams (20 points) were impressive for the visitors.
The men then set about making amends, with an 86-83 win over the Flames.
Setty racked up 30 points and 11 rebounds to star in the win while Mullenax was again impressive with 19 points as the Magic claimed the seesawing affair.
Next, both sides will play the Perth Redbacks on Saturday with tip off at 6.30pm for the women and 8.30pm for the men.
