SBL Round 3: Mandurah Magic go down to the Stirling Senators

The Magic made the long trip north and took a narrow lead into the first break, but the Senators were able to seize the lead and push ahead in the second and third terms.

Setty was well supported by Taylor Mullenax, who bagged 20 points, but it would not be enough for the Magic, sinking to their second loss in as many weeks.

It was better news for the women, who claimed a 20-point victory over the Senators, leading at every change.

Casey Mihovilovich was most damaging for the Magic with 20 points, while Adijat Adams had 14 rebounds, helping the Magic to their first win of the WSBL season, 79-59.

Up next is a trip to Eaton to take on the South-West Slammers for both sides, while the men will also take on the Goldfield Giants on Sunday in Rockingham.
