Skipper’s strong hand for Sprint final

James BroadhurstMandurah Coastal Times

Skipper enjoyed back-to-back success with littermates Special Pup and Flying Special.

The up-and-coming Special Pup won his fourth race in a row and a seventh from eight starts with a mighty come-from-behind effort in his heat.

A terrible start put Special Pup at the rear of the field early, but he quickly recovered and surged forward to capture the lead, before storming away to score by nearly four lengths in 22.82sec.

Flying Special overcame her wide draw to notch a hat-trick of victories when she saluted in 22.81sec.
