South Mandurah to take on Waroona in Peel Football League game

The match at Falcon Oval is a highlight of the first round, which will also see last year’s second placing Halls Head hosting Mundijong Centrals while last year’s wooden spoon recipient Mandurah will host Pinjarra.

Rockingham will host Baldivis in the remaining game at Anniversary Park.

All round one games are scheduled for a 4.30pm bounce down.

Waroona will play some of its games at home as scheduled after fears they may be forced to miss the season after the playing surface was badly damaged due to the main oval and surrounds being used as the incident control point during the recent fire crisis.

Waroona has already committed to playing its first four games at opposition grounds with its first home game scheduled for round five against Halls Head on May 1.
