THE Western Australian Pro Surf Series will return with a bang on October 19 with the Mandurah Pro.
The event will show off Mandurah’s stunning coastline and beaches as well as it’s renowned water sport lifestyle over the four days between October 19 and October 22.
Mandurah Mayor Rhys Williams is excited by the opportunity to show the world what Mandurah has to offer.
“It is fantastic to have the Western Australian Pro Surf Series returning to city shores with the Mandurah Pro,” Mr Williams said.
“This elite event is perfectly suited to Mandurah’s beautiful beaches and awesome surf breaks, and I am certainly proud to showcase our city to the local, interstate and international competitors and visitors alike.
After Mandurah the competitors will have a few days rest before the start of the Cape Naturaliste Pro; held between October 24 and October 27.
These events will allow local surfers to take in some of the best swells in the world while also offering a chance for the winners to gain a seed into major surfing events in the opening half of 2020.
