Weeber takes out Open

Weeber’s hometown is Harare in Zimbabwe, but he moved to WA and joined Mandurah Country Club.

The talented amateur golfer put in two rounds of 71 to beat Kwinana’s Daniel Hoeve by a single shot.

Hoeve is a member of Kwinana Golf Club and in the state team.

Hoeve had rounds of 71, 72.

Best nett went to Terry Serventy with consistent scores of 70, 71.
