Brennan prepared This Time Dylan to win the Flesh Express Conditioned Handicap (2503m) and Extreme Bromac to triumph in Friday night’s final race, the Make Smoking History Pathway Series Pace (2536m) at Gloucester Park.
Then the following night at the final meeting at the Harvey track, the Brennan-trained Pocket Change won over 2150m.
The wins took his tally to 34 winners for the season, with three months of the season remaining.
This Time Dylan has proved to be a moneyspinner for owner Brian Ridley. Claimed in December for $20,000, the son of Dream Away has since won just over $84,000 in stakes since being claimed by Ridley.
On Friday night, driven by Gary Hall Jr, This Time Dylan came off a 30m handicap and after initially being three wide early, took a trail on the back of Shardons Rocket in the moving line.
Getting into the clear on the home bend, This Time Dylan, who was supported late into $5.40 third tote favourite, ran on stoutly in the home straight to get up in the very last bound to win by a neck from Shardons Rocket.
Less than two lengths separated the first four horses across the finish line.
Just under two hours later, Brennan was again back in the winners’ circle after Extreme Bromac prevailed.
Driven by stable foreman Chris Playle, Extreme Bromac won the start and led throughout to win by just over two lengths.
