Young gun hopes to turn up Heat in US tournaments

Jaydyn Keeler is heading to the US to play tournaments with the Perth Heat colts teams.

After representing WA in the under-14s national tournament in 2012 and playing for Australia in the South-East Asian Youth Baseball and Softball Tournament, Keeler will head to the US for tournaments in the under-16s age group.

He is one of 44 players travelling with the Perth Heat colts teams.

Manager and player development manager Steve Fish will lead the coaching team.

WA teams will play against junior varsity and varsity students at high schools and colleges.

Keeler will returns from the US on July 24.
