President Irene Wright described the orchestra as fun, vibrant and innovative and said she would be particularly interested in hearing from violin and other strings players, but all inquiries were welcome.

Mrs Wright said the South Side Symphony Orchestra was perfect for lapsed amateur musicians or recently graduated high school or university students looking for opportunities to play.
